In solidarity with World Social Forum held at Belem, Brazil, Pakistan Social Forum is organizing a colorful event on Saturday, 07th February, 2009 / 03:00 to 08:00 p.m at Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi under the theme of ‘Rights of Indigenous People, Peace, Demilitarization, Freedom of media and Democracy†.

Minister for Culture and Tourism, Ms Sassui Palijo has graciously offer a pavilion of Sindhi music and instruments, where the indigenous and Sufi tunes and musical instruments will offer a pleasant time to participants.

Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP) is arranging stalls of indigenous artisan and handicrafts and cultural work of the remote areas of Sindh. Friends from other organizations and provinces are also planning their activities.

All peace and democracy loving citizens, labour, peasants, students, women, writers, lawyers, intellectuals, political workers, business men and women are requested to come and turn this event into a historical moot. Please come forward and be n active part of this event.
