In July 1998, Aman, the olive branch of Khoj ( a secular education
programme, Mumbai ), invited school children to express their views on the
nuclear bomb blasts by India and Pakistan.-- through drawings, paintings,
slogans or essays.
Over 2,000 entries were received in response from
different parts of India. A few entries were also received from Pakistan
and Sri Lanka.
From among these, 30 have been short-listed for selecting
the winning entries, to be announced later this year. Reproduced here are
some of the short-listed entries selected. Sets of 12 posters, 12 greeting
cards and 11 bookmarks.Posters: Rs.15 each, Rs.150 for a set of 12
