Image, Music, Text: 20 Years of Sahmat

The March special issue of Communalism Combat edited by Teesta Setalvad and Javed Anand is dedicated to the SAHMAT exhibition IMAGE MUSIC TEXT which was at Jamia Millia Islamia this last January/February. It is a unique experiment in placing an art catalogue in the public sphere in a magazine read by social and political activists which has a wide circulation.

It releases in Delhi on March 23rd at 6pm at the Press Club of India

Along with two new videos, Ways of Resisting, a document by Vivan Sundaram of the Sahmat show of 2003, and SAHMAT Music: 20 Years, a compilation by Anant Raina.
