India: Satirical Political Songs on the Communal and Militarist Politics of the RSS and BJP in the Vajpayee Years | IRADA

Digital version of a collection of satirical political songs in Hindustani produced as an audio cassette during early years [1999 / 2000] of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led NDA govt in India by New Delhi based Indians for Rational and Democratic Action (IRADA). These songs are about the right-wing Nationalist project of the RSS and BJP; Its communal politics and militarist agenda. The collection also contains a powerful anti nuclear song called ’Aye Button’ and a song called ’Nishan e Pakistan’ on BJP’s obsession with neighbouring Pakistan.
