Visits of other Japanese Peace Groups

· Visits of other Japanese peace groups (Gensuiken, Gensuikyo and Peace Boat) provided further opportunities for mass contact, while Japanese films like ìA Motherís Prayerî ìThe Day Afterî etc served as a good medium for initiating discussions.
· The visit of Aichi Peace Group from Japan consisting of a couple of hibakushas in late December provided another opportunity to hold public meetings and special group discussions in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Abbotabad. Sungi Development Foundation arranged a public meeting for the visitors in Abbotabad which proved to be the first activity of its kind in that city.
· In Karachi, ACAAR organised meetings and photo-poster exhibitions for them with the students and teachers of Jinnah Medical College and with members of the Pakistani Doctors for Peace and Democracy.
